If someone is behaving as a domineering bully, what emotional needs are they trying to meet with their behavior? They're presumably acting that way for a reason; what's the reason?

Foole: But Sensei, what if he *doesn't* flinch back?

Aikido Master: *looking concerned* That very bad. If he no flinch back, maybe hit eyes on fingers.
