Okay, I'm in LA

Flight was uneventful, although the captain refused my request to do aerobatics. Played Fluxx with Zack, read a bit, ate airline food, landed. Got picked up, no problem. Dinner with folks, only trivial problems caused by Zack being exhausted, but he had the good sense to eat, excuse himself, and go to bed.

So I'm thinking about the difference between individual and group focus. Individuals are the only ones who can take action, although it's the actions of individuals that *cause* what we perceive as group action. And in the middle of the next sentence I fell off the deep end completely, so I'll try and get back to it later. Any of y'all have any thoughts you'd care to share on the topic?

best,

Joel
