Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?
"I'm sorry" doesn't fix anything. *Fixing something* fixes something. If someone screws up, and follows proper protocol, the first thing they do is say "Whoops, I screwed up!" But that's not the important part. The important part is 1.) Stop screwing up, 2.) Fix any damage caused by your screwup, and then, finally, 3.) apologize for having screwed up.
