Sometimes keeping my mouth shut is *hard*.

One of my new friends misinterpreted something I said, and I saw there was no way to convince him that what he heard was the opposite of what I intended. So I apologized to him for speaking from incomplete data, which is *also* true.

And I'm still fighting the temptation to go back and say "We're really in agreement here..." even though I know he would not only not be able to hear that, but would likely interpret it as me having a fetish for being always right all the time -- and I've met enough people with that fetish myself to empathize with a tendency to see it whether it's operative at the moment or not.

So, off ot research resin.
